Home education is defined by Florida Statute as 鈥渢he sequentially progressive instruction of a student directed by his or her parent in order to satisfy the attendance requirements of ss. , (13), and (1).鈥� By enrolling in home education, parents/guardians are assuming all educational responsibilities regardless of the mechanism used to educate their students. As a result, home education students are not provided any supports by the district, i.e., books, curriculum, IEP accommodations, 504 accommodations, etc.听
